EDUCATION
David I. Bridgers III, MD graduated from University of Mississippi in 1995, with a BA in
Liberal Arts. In 1999, Dr. Bridgers received his doctorate degree from the University of
Mississippi School of Medicine located in Jackson, Mississippi. He completed his
internship and residency in Internal Medicine from 1999 through 2002, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Bridgers then completed his fellowship in
Gastroenterology/Hepatology also at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in 2005.

David I. Bridgers III, MD was born in San Louis Obispo, CA, in 1972. He is married
with three children. He is a member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Oxford. His interest include music and outdoor activity. He has been with the practice since 2005.
